I came based on the mix of reviews and what locals had to say in the nearby Family Dollar store. I was told about a few places and this was the closest food location to my motel. The outside and inside are decorated in a way consistent of the overall theme I saw of businesses up and down the street. It's a good look. The young lady who took my order was friendly and helpful. She let me know my order would take about twenty minutes. I made my order a "To Go" order, and while waiting at a makeshift bar area a nice lady prepared a glass of water for me. There was a gentleman behind the counter that I made small talk with, and he shared that the business has been open for about 5 years and that the building used to be a real estate office. The place was cozy, and I saw it had some regulars. The staff seemed nice, but I did notice the owner passed by me several times, she didn’t make eye contact nor did she say a word. I figured that's the person who should be making an attempt to see how a customer is doing. No big deal... I've met and dealt with all types on my 48 state journeys. I received my order and went back to my hotel. In conclusion... For twelve dollars, I've had far better burgers, but you have to evaluate the situation as a whole. I figured that the owner/staff has done reconnaissance of the other restaurants in town. You figure the food that they are serving is what they consider to be a satisfactory end product. It also goes to say that the price point is just what's needed to keep the business viable. So I shrugged off even trying to compare it to something that wasn't even in the same town. If you are planning on stopping in Shamrock, give them a visit. It was a good burger.

Road trip back to Ohio and we stopped in Shamrock for the night off Route 66. Went to Rusty’s for dinner and we absolutely loved it! We felt the small town love from the moment we sat at the bar. Strace greeted us with a smile and cold beers! The pizza was very good and hit the spot after a long day driving. I bought a cute and comfy shirt designed by Sydney, the sister of an employee. Great place to stop and highly recommend! Thank you for a great experience!

Great little dive in Shamrock, TX. For a small town that seems to be dependent on the Rt 66 tourism traffic, Rusty's appears to be doing well. Parking lot was full, the dining area and patio were full, and we soon found out why as the wings and pizza were delicious. We got the cauliflower crust pizza (so good) and a dozen wings and everything was spot on! Highly recommend the Buffalo Garlic wings! If we are ever in Shamrock again...we will be stopping in!

My family of 6 decided to stop here for a late dinner while staying in Shamrock, TX. The staff provided exceptional service and were incredibly kind to our children. The food was delicious! We ordered cheese fries, taco pizza on cauliflower crust, and kids chicken nuggets. We plan to make this an intentional stop when we get ready to pass through on another Route 66 venture.

As my kids would say...bruh!!! The pizza here is amazing. Wings are awesome too. Got ice cold beer, tea, whatever. But the food and service was top notch. If in the area, go here. Don't waste your time going to get fast food or something else...come here and grab a pizza!

Super friendly bar with good bar food. Waite staff could not be nicer, greeted most by name and hugs, seriously! Trisha was the best as I joked her about not getting hugs so she proceeded to give my whole family a hug, so sweet. Food was good and we had a burger, pizza and wings. All good, fun place for a quick meal.
